"Sunset in Arthurstown" Co. Wexford

Situated at the very top of the Hook Peninsula in Wexford is the beautiful village of Arthurstown. Primarily an old fishing village it consists of a beautiful harbour, a number of old fisherman's cottages and a single main street with the Kings Bay Inn, which has recently been tenderly restored to its original and quaint condition. The water-pump in the painting was once the only source of fresh water in the village....my how things have changed!
